Are you a PhD student finishing your thesis? The FWRO-FRSR Scientific Fund for Research in Rheumatology is proud to announce a special recognition opportunity during the upcoming BCR 2026 Congress in Liège this September.
The Award
The Rheuma.be PhD Award celebrates academic excellence in rheumatology. This year, a €2,500 grant will be awarded to eligible PhD students to support their continued scientific contributions.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this grant, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Thesis Defense: You must have successfully defended your PhD thesis between September 2025 and June 30, 2026.
Congress Participation: You must be present at BCR 2026 to accept the award.
The « My PhD in 5 minutes »: Winners are required to present their PhD findings in a concise, 5-minute presentation during the congress.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit their application package, including:
A scientific summary of the PhD thesis.
A lay summary (accessible to a non-expert audience).
