It is with sadness that we announce the passing away of Dr Herman De Baets.
Dr De Baets was one of the pioneers of Belgian rheumatology and did a lot for our association. He was president from 1981 to 1983.
According to Pubmed, his first publication dates from 1956. Afterwards, 8 more case reports can be found.
Our sympathy goes out to his family, friends and former colleagues.
